I’m Anna, and I’m thrilled to share this journey with you. Originally from Barcelona, I have been fortunate to explore the world since I was 17, discovering cultures, meeting new people, and learning through travel. This website is my way of passing on those blessings, with a special focus on ensuring fellow female travelers can find safe, welcoming, and wonderful places to stay across Europe.
My Journey
Travel has been a transformative part of my life, starting with trips to the U.S. and Ireland and eventually leading me to live in Rome for nine months. My ongoing adventure includes traveling across Europe in a camper van, which has been an incredible way to connect deeply with each destination. Along the way, I’ve started various online ventures such as Hostelgeeks.com and LaTravelista.com, and now manage a fantastic team of seven. My team and I provide business and SEO consulting to some of the world’s top travel brands.
Why Hostels?
Hostels have a unique way of making travel accessible and communal, especially important for women traveling alone or in groups. My aim is to highlight hostels that are not only budget-friendly but also secure, comfortable, and friendly—places where female travelers can feel at home away from home.
